Cognitive Consulting Group

Cognitive behavioural therapy: consultations for clients,
supervision and training for specialists

About

We offer psychotherapy, supervision and educational seminars within the framework of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT).

The founders of the center are Tomas Jurcik (Canada) and Irina Samarina (Russia), highly educated clinical psychologists with international experience working with Russian-speaking and English-speaking audiences.

Our goal is to provide high-quality psychological assistance, as well as to train and support other specialists in the field of psychotherapy.

How can we help you?

Main fields:

Psychotherapy

We provide high quality psychotherapy services, using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) as a guiding model. CBT is an evidence based psychotherapy effective in the treatment of various mental health issues including anxiety disorders, depression and obsessive compulsive disorder. It is practical and focuses on the interrelationship between behaviours, thoughts and emotions.

Supervision

We provide effective supervision and consultations to therapists who are learning about CBT and making psychological assessments. CBT is a short-term and efficient approach to dealing with client problems. Many clients cannot afford to be in therapy for many months or years, and wish to see progress relatively quickly. Fortunately, CBT is a relatively short-term treatment. We will help you develop a clinical conceptualization and treatment plan.

Education

We offer group trainings on the assessment and treatment of various disorders, including social phobia, panic, generalized anxiety, depression and OCD. Workshops will typically be held in small groups with the purpose of imparting awareness, knowledge and skills in CBT. We will also discuss the possibility of culturally adaptating therapy, to make it more suitable to your individual clients. Our workshops are interactive and encourage rich duscussions.
